Josie Connolly Memorial Scholarship Award 2016
Josie Connolly was a founding member of Deafblind Ireland and likewise, a mother of a person with a multi-sensory impairment. Her vision of Deafblind Ireland was to offer support and guidance for families affected by visual and hearing impairments. In her memory, Deafblind Ireland will select a child or individual and assist in funding supports or services that will enhance the quality of their life. Similar to the previous year, the 2015 recipient has been awarded funding for a series of one-to one music therapy sessions.
